What happens if I win a prize to shop at Happy Little Stampers?

Every month you have a chance to win a gift certificate to shop with at Happy Little Stampers (HLS). If you are announced as one of the winners of our challenges, here is what you need to know and do.

HLS is based in Australia. Winners are awarded a $20 gift certificate (not including shipping) to spend at the shop.

As of February 2017, there have been some changes made to the shipping system for international orders. Orders are generally shipped as a 'letter' because of the size and weight of the the stamp sets. This has kept the postage costs to a minimum. Sending goods as a 'letter' meant there is no way to track the item. Unfortunately there have been a number of orders 'lost' in the mail and HLS has happily replaced these orders at no cost to the customer. The time has come where it is not viable to keep doing so. PLUS, HLS is now stocking larger items which makes it hard for the system to correctly calculate the postage costs for actual international parcels.

Hence, the changes to the shipping costs. When you purchase at HLS from now on, there are capped shipping rates. For Australian customers it is $10 but spend over $60 and get free shipping. For New Zealand customers it is $20 but spend over $100 and get free shipping. For the rest of the world it is $25 but spend over $120 and get free shipping.

This also means that I have had to rethink the way that I issue prizes for our wonderful followers. It isn't quite fair that you receive a $20 gift certificate, live in the UK (for example), and have to pay $25 in shipping so your goods can be tracked.

So, the end result is -

Have you been announced a winner for one of our monthly challenges?

  1. Email me at kyliepurtell@gmail.com within 5 days to claim your prize. Within your email, please let me know if you live in either Australia, NZ, or the rest of the world.
  2. You will still receive a gift certificate to spend at the shop to the amount of $20AUD.
  3. Your prize can only be applied to stamp sets.
  4. Having the shipping capped at $5 means that you will not receive tracking for your order. HLS will not be liable for any undelivered or lost mail.

  1. I would love to participate in your challenges but I am blog challenged, lol. I do have a blog and know how to add posts to it but no idea how to do 3 and 4 in your rules.

    regards, Joanne

  2. Hi Joanne, all you need to do is take the link from the challenge at Happy Little Stampers (found at the top of your browser when on the page) and add that link in your own post (just copy and paste). You can enter as many times as you like but you will need to have a separate blog post for each entry (or have multiple cards you would like to enter on just the one blog post). I hope this makes sense. Please email me at kyliepurtell@gmail.com if you have any other questions xx

  6. These are my following ways to cut dies...Cuttlebug, Brother Scan and Cut, and Cricut Explore...are these all considered die cuts. Also, would fussy-cutting a stamped item be considered as a die cut, sometime this is easier than pulling out one of your machines for the die-cut.

    1. Hi Sue, no. Fussy cutting is not considered a die cut. Any method using a die cutting machine is acceptable. You may also use your steel dies - you may use them to mask, emboss, or stencil.
